How many local elections have been won or lost with only 3 votes? Election procedures do need to be reviewed, monitored, and updated, but it isn’t the 3 illegal aliens registered to vote in Mesa County that worry me. It is the fact that our election officials cannot assure us that our ballots are actually secret, and that some employers threaten thir workers with job loss if they vote the wrong way. And don’t get me started on mega churchs which provide lists of acceptable candidates to their parishoners, in violation of their tax exempt status as a church. Three illegal alien voters is a drop in the bucket when one looks at the real problems in the election system. America was founded on the idea that We the People should be making the decisions by which we are governed. When billionaires can buy elections, and one party tries to find ways to limit access to voting by minorities, three illegal voters are not my biggest concern. If Gessler can prove they are illegal and that they have voted, our DA should be prosecuting them. They won’t be voting again. Now get busy and fix the real problems in the electoral system.
