Skip-ity-do-da

Skip picked a good family.
His owner Ralph (from Junction Daily Blog) sent me this about the new addition to his family: “We have no idea what kind of dog Skip is, except a good one … He’s an extremely disciplined dog. His previous owners/foster parents taught him to come, sit, lay, heel, stay and all the other important stuff.”
The family found Skip at a PetSmart adoption fair. Read more about Skip here.
Ralph is a big proponent of shelter dogs. “If you get a shelter dog, more likely than not you will get a pet who has already been neutered, had his shots, already knows how to mind, and who needs only love to be the perfect pet,” Ralph wrote.
Thanks for the photo, Ralph.

i’ve have to say skip is most likely part schnauzer…and MAYBE part cocker spaniel. he is a sweet looking done; he’s got soulful eyes. congrats on your GREAT find, ralph.

SORRY ABOUT THE TYPO! i mean to say, “he is a sweet looking dog”, not “…done”. geez. peace!

I’m so happy you adopted Skip! I saw him a couple times at PetSmart and he was so sweet and cute. I love his scruffy chin and mouth. Congradulations!

Congratulations on your new addition. I applaud you for getting this wonderful dog from the Petsmart Adoption Fair. We adopted a cat from the Petsmart CLAWS program. All of these animals have so much love to give!

Actually, elmo, we (and the vet) think he’s part black lab and part terrier, maybe Airedale being the terrier part.
He’s a medium-large dog, about 24” at the shoulders and 56 lbs.
