Former U.S. Rep. Scott McInnis donates to John McCain campaign

For the first time since 2004, former Congressman Scott McInnis, R-Colo., has given money directly to a candidate for federal office.

According to recent campaign finance filings, McInnis gave Republican presidential candidate John McCain $500 on May 16.

Though McInnis has given to various PAC funds out of his own pocket and sent money from his own PAC, The Western Way, between then and now, his most recent contribution to a federal candidate prior to May came in the form of a $2,000 check to Greg Walcher in August 2004.
