Buescher, Bradford clash on transportation, tax policy

The Redlands Rotary Club debate today between state Rep. Bernie Buescher, D-Grand Junction, and Collbran Republican Laura Bradford, marked the first time the two candidates met to discuss policy in the same place at the same time.
The contrasts between the two candidates came into focus almost immediately when they were asked about two issues: How to improve Interstate 70 and the constitutionality of Gov. Bill Ritter’s mill levy freeze.
