‘Everything is … spin’
Just as Republican presidential nominee John McCain challenged the country to come together for real “change,” it has emerged that he provided Bob Woodward — and the nation — with a cold splash of realism that all political observers should heed.
According to Politico.com’s Playbook blog, McCain told Woodward: “Everything is f—-ing spin.”
The Arizona senator was talking about the current president’s tactics, but the same could be said of most political campaigns.
