Speaker Romanoff beefing up on election law

Speaker of the House Andrew Romanoff, D-Denver, confirmed today that he is, in fact, taking an election law course as part of his law studies.

“Yes, I’m taking a course,” Romanoff told Political Notebook.

Romanoff, who has been mentioned in some circles as a possible successor for outgoing Secretary of State Mike Coffman, warned us not to read into his course selection.

“It seemed interesting to me, but not for the reasons you’re suspecting,” Romanoff said.
