Buescher tops 2006 fundraising; Bradford falls behind Caskey

Democratic Grand Junction state Rep. Bernie Buescher has managed to top his 2006 fundraising efforts thus far this year while his opponent has not managed to eclipse the two-term lawmaker’s 2006 opponent.
According to a Political Notebook analysis of campaign finance data from January through mid-September of 2006 and 2008, Buescher has taken in $125,154 as of Sept. 10 compared to $57,610 two years ago.
Buescher’s opponent, Laura Bradford has accepted $22,034 worth of contributions during the same time period, compared to the $25,282 Bob Caskey collected in 2006.
