Analysis: Palin, Biden perform well, race remains largely unchanged
Vice presidential candidates should be the most effective spokesmen or spokeswoman for those atop their respective tickets. And last night during the vice presidential debate, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin and Democratic Delawar Sen. Joe Biden did just that.
There were not major gaffes and no tide-turning moments likely to upset the balance of states in the red or blue columns.
Palin’s performance likely mollified, for now, those who had questioned her strength as a running mate. And Biden’s answers likely solidified the support of his backers.
All in all, the race remains the same.
That’s our analysis, what do you think?
