Poll: Penry’s roads question favored to pass in November

Polling released today shows state Sen. Josh Penry’s plan to invest severance tax revenues into highway improvements along Interstate 70 is highly favored to pass.
According to the poll from Floyd Ciruli, Amendment 52, also supported by Rep. Frank McNulty, R-Highlands Ranch, is favored 64 percent to 12 percent by registered voters. Eighteen percent reported being unsure of how to vote on the measure and 5 percent said they do not vote on amendments.
The poll of 501 registered votes was conducted Sept. 19 to Sept. 23 and has a margin of error of 4.4 percent.
