Penry, King to host dial-in forum

State Sen. Josh Penry, R-Grand Junction, and Rep. Steve King, R-Grand Junction, are hosting a telephonic town hall meeting this evening to discuss (according to a press release), “10 initiatives that Penry and King say will have ‘profound and lasting consequences for our economy, our jobs and our pocketbooks.’”

Penry said through the use of a new technology invitations will go out to thousands of homes in Delta, Garfield and Mesa counties around 6:30 p.m. when the call is scheduled to start tonight.

Unfortunately, Penry said, he and King will not be at the League of Women Voters of Mesa County forum scheduled for 6 p.m. at the old county courthouse.
