Colo. GOP: Please don’t mess with Democrats’ campaign signs

Mike Britt, executive director of the Colorado Republican Party, has asked that conservatives across the state refrain from messing with Democratic candidates’ signs.

The Mesa County Republican Party forwarded on this letter to its members today:

Britt’s e-mail message (which the letter was attached to) cited a recent Rocky Mountain News article about a Greeley man cited for stealing 28 Democratic candidates’ yard signs.

Fair, ethical advice. And, it goes both ways.

When I was working on the Mitt Romney campaign, I had a truck full of signs that I used to replace my stolen one every morning. Eventually, I wore the thief down after about 6 signs.
