Wolf: ‘Wadhams has never been enthused about my candidacy’

Republican congressional candidate Wayne Wolf told Political Notebook today that the state Republican Party has not delivered on a promise to support his bid to unseat Congressman John Salazar, D-Colo.
In his comments, Wolf singles out Colorado Republican Party Chairman Dick Wadhams as not being “enthused” about his candidacy.
Here’s what Wolf had to say:

UPDATE: Wadhams told us that Wolf was misinterpreting his and the state’s party’s stance on the 3rd Congressional District race.
“I was very clear with him in that the National Republican Congressional Committee’s first and foremost priority is to defend incumbents, particularly given the national atmosphere,” Wadhams said. “That’s gotten only more critical as we’ve got deeper in the cycle.”
He said the state party supports Wolf’s electoral bid.
