Suthers: Partisanship hurts confidence in electoral process

Accused by Colorado Democratic Party Chairwoman Pat Waak of issuing a partisan legal opinion on the legality of taking duplicate voter registration information out of the state’s voter rolls, Attorney General John Suthers fired back.
In a letter distributed to the press, Suthers said Waak’s attacks on him hurt the public confidence in the electoral process:

According to The Denver Post, Waak had accused the Republican attorney general of working with Secretary of State Mike Coffman, also a Republican, of injecting partisanship into the election process: “We hope this is the end of the concerted GOP effort to deny voters their rights and to create obstacles to voter participation at a time when Coloradans are eager for change.”
