Enter Battle of the Bands
It’s that time of year again - James Williams with Raindance Promotions is accepting band submissions for the local 2008 Battle of the Bands. Only the top 12 submissions will be selected to compete.
Winner of the battle opens Rock Jam 2008 out in Mack. Last year’s winner was Fractalia from Ridgway.

Musicians added to Bluegrass Fest line up
Arlo Guthrie, Ryan Adams & the Cardinals, Paolo Nutini, Ani DiFranco, Yonder Mountain String Band and Hot Rize - these musicians and more are confirmed performers at the 35th Annual Telluride Bluegrass Festival, June 19 - 22.

Bringing a little Oscar gold to the musical mix are Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova from The Swell Season, who won for the song “Falling Slowly” in the film “Once.”
