Happy birthday, Isabel, Chance & Piper
Eleven years ago today I whelped this cute litter:

From this snoozy start, the kids have learned over the past 11 years how to shoot a BB gun, clean a fish, drive a tractor, barrel race, quilt, turn an infield play to first, sink a layup, decorate a cake, play the piano, guitar and drums, sing on key and use a pocket knife without requiring first aid.
I can’t imagine what’s in store from here.

Adorable kids, both then and now. (But then, I just might be a wee bit biased …)

I should also have mentioned that they all got their Aunt Carol’s temper. And her good heart.

Yes, happy birthday to my favorite triplets.
Oh and you forgot to mention that they are great hosts to city girls who are ignorant of the barnyardy lifestyle.

The kids make Erin and I think we might be able to do this parenting thing someday. Of course, parental influence might have something to do with that, but you get the idea.
Happy birthday!

11? 11! I distinctly remember cute-as-a-button little 4-year-olds! Wasn’t that just a few weeks ago? How did they get to be 11? Really, though, Congrats on all their accomplishments, and your ability to survive it all three times over!

Um, Mike and I only HOPE to do as well at the parenting thing as you and Scott have, Laurena.
Happy Birthday to my favorite fifth-graders!
