RSSBehold the cold

OK, OK, I gotta be honest, I haven't embraced the cold. I complain about it all the time and then I go lay in my bed and turn the mattress pad up to 11. But in the spirit of loving the one you're with, I dusted off the Haute Mamas Pinterest account and made a board of cold-weather things. Go take a look.
Growing up in the San Francisco Bay Area, it never really got cold, snowy or icy, so I don't have memories of playing in the snow as a kid. However, I went to grad school in Pennsylvania and I learned how to have fun in snow. One of my favorite things to do was make crazy snowmen a la Calvin and Hobbes. Here's a pin I included on our Pinterest board:

That’s awesome. So, I think if you go out and gently pour water on your snowmen every night, you’ll eventually have an ice man. Hmmmm…..
I love the iceman idea! Maybe even mist the snowman with a squirt bottle.
Geez, you guys are harsh! The poor snowman is already tied up and surrounded by hostile snow-lettes and now you want to ice him down?
