Can you pop popcorn with a cell phone?

It's already been a hectic week here in The Daily Sentinel newsroom. Obama came to town, we rolled out a new print product format, we've had unidentified packages, the stock market has fallen ... need I go on? Needless to say we all needed to relax a bit so Robin and I didn't have any trouble recruiting people for this experiment. The hypothesis is that cell phones will pop popcorn. Don't believe it's true? Watch and see: It all started when I received this link from my mom. OK, we could have saved ourselves 60 cents we spent on the popcorn had we checked Snopes.com first but it sure was fun! I love the part where we all start laughing at the ridiculousness of it all at the end!
