Don’t Ask Me Why

By Lynn Lickers
It seems like Christmas was a long time ago - instead of barely a couple weeks ago. Christmas with the Lickers clan is always an adventure. For some reason we started a "tradition" that you have to wear a bow on your head after you open a present. OK, we didn't start it, I just told everybody to do it so I could take their picture and then post it here. My mother is the world's best present-wrapper. I mean really, her presents look like works of art. So maybe that's why I wanted to get more mileage out of her beautiful bows. Or maybe it was too much eggnog. bowsdaderica.jpg Grandpa and Erica. If this picture looks blurry to you, you've had too much eggnog. bowslynnalex.jpg Me and Alex. Sometimes the bows look like antlers. bowsdadandmeg.jpg Grandpa and Meg (Erica's mini-me sister) bowsallkids.jpg Cousins (who will probably no longer be speaking to me) All in all, it was a great Christmas. Now where did I put my eggnog . . .
