It’s all Small Boots: Thank you, Alice Bradley

By Robin Dearing

I read several blogs written by women who are funny, smart and honest. I don't know them personally, but I feel a connection to them because they share moments in their lives, the good, the bad and the ugly. They share their thoughts and fears. They make me feel better about my own insecurities.

I have no idea what I'm doing most of the time. Normally, I can just wing it and that seems OK. Sometimes things work out and sometimes, not so much. Thankfully, reading stories written by smart, funny  women who have insecurities and problems make me feel less like a failure and more like a regular person.

Earlier this week, Finslippy, aka Alice Bradley, wrote this. It's so smart and honest and it helped remind me that being happy is about perspective. Choosing to have a wonderful life is the key to actually having one. It's all just Small Boots (click the link and you'll get it).

Happy Friday, lovely readers, and have a good weekend.

I totally get it. I yell too much. It’s ineffective so I decided to stop. I know that Soren didn’t get his homework done because I stopped yelling and decided to let him deal with his own problems. We’ll see how that works out.
