Pounding Pavement in Moab

This weekend I’ll be running my second half-marathon. Actually, it’s The Other Half Marathon in Moab. My knee is feeling pretty good - ran 6 flat miles last night and did just fine. I love Moab and the best part of this race is that at the end it’s free beer in your commemorative glass! (Remember, this is Utah we’re talking about, so that’s no small feat!) The cool part is that the race is on my mother’s birthday, October 19. My parents are coming down to watch. How cool that my 74 year-old mom will be watching her 50 year-old daughter run 13.1 miles!
