Product review: Glitter Toos

By Robin Dearing

A few weeks ago, Richie received a package full of swag. As we've said before, we love swag. What's better than swag? Super-fun, awesome swag.

Glitter Toos are awesome. I'm so happy they sent us samples of their product to try.

Many parents have learned that kids love fake tattoos. Fake tattoos have been around for ever. When I was a kid the best Cracker Jack prize was a fake tattoo.

But truth be told, those tattoos were kind of hard to get on with the damp sponge and all the rubbing. Sometimes only half would stick, then you'd have half a fake tattoo. Boo. Then they would crack and look weird until they eventually wore off.

Well, let's just say that Glitter Toos aren't your average fake, kiddie tattoo. Nope, they are super cute and easy to use.

See that tattoo on Richie? That took me about three minutes to complete.

Here's Margaret Glitter Tooing a good friend (yes, even boys like Glitter Toos).

The stencils are stickers which you apply to the skin. Then you paint on the glue with a little brush.

Brush on the glitter and done! Easy peasy.

They last a couple of days. When you're done having your Glitter Too then you just scrub it and poof, it's gone.

The following pictures are Glitter Toos done by kids and adults. See how nice they look?

We weren't particulary careful and they still turned out quite nice.

Also important is that Glitter Toos are made in the U.S.A. and the are 100 percent safe and cruelty free. They have many different themed kits, including holiday Glitter Toos.

If you have questions about Glitter Toos, you can go to their www.glittertoos.com.

Now, I'm gonna go give myself a Glitter Too!

This really was a great product. You forgot to mention that each kit comes in a nice little travel case, perfect for the slumber party or on the go glittery person. I’m so glad Mar enjoyed them.

Fun project for the whole family!
