Punkin Patch

By Robin Dearing

Even though Margaret is a full-on tween, she's still not to old to have some little-kid fun. Sunday, Bill, Mar and I went with our friends to a pumpkin patch.

We picked out some pumpkins and gourds, as well as navigated a corn maze and jumped on this crazy, open bump-n-jump. The kids sped down a giant slide into a pool of corn. I love the moments when my growing-up-too-fast daughter lets her hair down and plays like a little kid she'll only be for another day or two.

Yes, that's Margaret flipping through the air on the left. She's all legs.

How fun! Whose patch is that? With offerings that cool, they deserve a shout-out!

That’s Studt’s Pumpkin Patch on 21 1/2 Road. Admission is $8 per person.
