What I don't get about this story is how the chief financial officer of a relatively small city could live such a lavish lifestyle on a relatively small salary, and no one noticed. Much less allegedly steal $30 million from the city in six years.
The woman, Rita Crundwell, is reportedly one of the largest Quarter Horse breeders in the country.
