TEACHING HORSE SHOW

By Bob Silbernagel

A teaching horse show for youth, sponsored by local 4-H groups, is scheduled for Saturday, March 31, at the Mesa County Fairgrounds. The cost is $20 for the day or $5 per class.

The show is open to youth age 18 and under. 4-H membership is not required. It will feature discussion, teaching points, and feedback after each class. Participants may enter different levels in different classes, based on their skills. There will be ribbons, drawings, prizes, fun and learning for all.

Classes include different levels in showmanship, Western and English categories.
