ZENYATTA DELIVERS A HEALTHY COLT

Zenyatta, the great Thoroughbred who was the first mare to win the Breeder's Cup Championship, was Horse of the Year in 2010 and came up a nose short of ending her racing career undefeated, gave birth to a 130-pound colt Thursday. The sire of the young prince is Bernardini, who won the 2006 Preakness. The photo was by Ann Moss, one of Zenyatta's owners.
