…‘Wouldn’t it Be Nice’  …listening to the Beach Boys right now…This song reminds me of growing up on the coast of North Carolina and not having a care in the world…You know what? It is Nice to be here in Grand Junction.

Western Slope Kids getting the Shaft from the Government…School District 51 wants OUR opinion on what jobs to cut Hmm…Lets start at the top…Superintendant? $100-thousand dollars-plus for…?  Management is what I’m think’in.  Why not let the people who actually educate make a little policy…who knows better what they need then the people in the classroom everyday with those kids?  Teachers are one of the biggest assets in America. School Budgets and Educational issues are a big problem here in the Valley that we don’t hear enough about in our local news. Education of our kids, your kids …is the Future. Stupid people do stupid things. Doesn’t education seem like a good idea? And …a good investment?

Not everyone can be an astronaut. You do have to squeeze the ‘food’ tubes from the bottom…some people just have to mash it in the middle…That’s not NASA protocol and it just won’t do!

I admit it…I get giddy when a local news anchor actually gets through one story without stammering or even looking surprised by the story they’re reading. Apparently not having a personality qualifies a person for local TV news and injects them with a ‘heap’in help’in’ of Journalistic Integrity…Lots of integrity here in the Valley.  It’s 2010 boys and girls!…Local TV News is not diminished by having a ‘genuine’ personality.  You might want to ‘Lighten Up.’ Oh… a little TV News 101…Does anybody teach conversational speech? You think it might just come natural. Talk like you’re in a Diner shoot’in the Bull with a friend…not like you’re at a Police Press Conference. Talk with your viewers not AT them. And…nobody lives in past tense… It’s not where you went…it’s where you’re going… ‘ING ’ words take a sentence somewhere. Those “ed’ words? are root-ed and are a DEAD end for the person on the other side of the TV… Love ya!

Am I the only person that see’s the Avatar Movie as an homage to Smurfs? “ Bigger, Badder…and Bluer! Smurfs…A Space So…‘Odd-You–Have-To-See!’

How many plastic Wal-Mart bags are scattered around your house? I think mine are multiplying like 'Tribbles'...
