Bored? Try TonePad

By David Goe

Hey all, I'm back from vacation and boy have I got a new toy for you to play with. Sitting in the McCarran international airport dead broke and beat, I wasted a good 40 minutes playing with TonePad on my iPhone. TonePad is a tone matrix in grid format that creates simple loops. You don't need to know anything about music to have fun, just press the cells and listen. You can even hear what your name sounds like!

There's not too much happening in the way of music this weekend so hey, make some of your own. Try out this free tone pad here or download the app. It's totally addicting.
