Colorado Bands To Watch

While the Lumineers continue to bask in the limelight (and deservedly so) there is much more to the Colorado music scene than the song "Ho Hey." In fact, the music coming out of this state is pretty diverse.  Have you heard Yo Me & Apollo? Besides in need of a haircut there is not much to complain about when it comes to Brent Cowles and company. Like things a little more abstract? Check out The Morning Clouds and Force Publique. If it's saxaphone and dubstep you crave then look no further than Big Gigantic. Perhaps the hottest band in the state right now, Big Gigantic are on their way to big things.

As always there is tons of great music out there so keep your ears open.
