Local Bands Rule January Calendar

The January concert calendar is filling in nicely with local talent on display. Outside of the weekly Blues Jams (1/15, 1/22, 1/29) there are plenty of opportunities to hear home grown sound. Strong bets this month are Shotgun Hodown opening up for the legend Reverend Horton Heat on the 25th and Miss Emily's CD release party on the 26th. Miss Emily is one of the best pure singers in the valley and she plays with a really tight band.  A picture says a thousand words so for now I'll just leave you with this one from a past Shotgun Hodown show (more on their upcoming show to come).
