One Whoaman Band at Sabrosa

When I was a kid I used to think that Dick Van Dyke in "Mary Poppins" was the coolest. Not only was he one cheeky chap, but he was also a one man band. As I grew up I slowly started to realize that busking on the street corner with a kick drum hanging off your back wasn't all that cool. Anyone willing to do that had to be crying out for attention, right? Well maybe not...

Let me introduce you to Molly Gene aka the One Whoaman Band. Gene is a one woman wrecking crew, playing dirty slide guitar, signing, and stomping her cowboy boots on a mini kick drums. She is a force of southern nature, not a cheep act looking for a little scratch. The One Whoaman brings her brand of Delta Thrash to Grand Junction, playing tonight at Sabrosa.
