Pizza Winner and Comment Glitches

By Lynn Lickers
WOW! You guys are great - thank you for all the feedback already. We could be on to something here! First things first - Lisa is the pizza winner. Go Lisa! And yes, you can have wine instead of beer with it. Although I’m curious what kind of wine one drinks with pizza. I guess it’s whatever kind you want, right? Secondly - so sorry about the comment glitch which makes the comments not post right away. We’re working on getting that fixed. I have to check mark each comment before it will post (way too much power was bestowed upon me) and I was out of the office yesterday with no computer access. All your comments appear now so please continue to check back - and a huge thank you to everyone for getting us started! I was up in Vail yesterday at the Steadmann Hawkins Clinic. My beautiful 18-year old niece was having hip surgery to correct an issue she’s had a while and hopefully she’ll be in tip-top shape again soon. My mom was having an MRI done to fix a rotator cuff tear. Those are details - but what I really want to tell you is that it’s a pretty awesome place. I hope to only be there as a visitor/chauffer, but should one ever need to repair some bones or what not - that would be the place to go. And of course since it is Vail we’re talking about here, the waiting room has a self-serve espresso machine. Now on to running - I’ll talk more about this later, but I have signed up to be a girl’s lacrosse referee this season. What? You didn’t know we had a girl’s lacrosse team? It’s true - and they are looking pretty good, too. But I'm supposed to be neutral on that. Being a referee means you have to run, make that sprint, up and down a 120 yard field for 50 minutes. Sprinting is a whole different ball game for me. Oh my aching hips! But I love having that whistle. More later - keep posting and you can always e-mail me as well. Lynn Lickers
