T and A

By Lynn Lickers
That stands for "tips and advice", and now that I have your attention . . . I received an interesting e-mail today from someone who is about to “get bibbed” in their first race this weekend, the Harbert Lumber Girls on the Run 5K. The e-mail contained a few tips for running your first race. They included double knotting your shoe laces, don’t start out too fast and making sure you use the porta-potty before the race. I thought all those tips were pretty good - but surely there are more out there. So help my friend out and share some of your advice. Come on - you were new to the game once too. What would YOU have found helpful?
