Taxmageddon? Oy vey!

"Taxmageddon" is a puckish spinoff of the Hebrew word Armageddon, which is found in the Bible. It refers to a place where “the last, decisive battle between the forces of good and evil is to be fought,” according to Webster’s.

In a more general sense, it means any important, decisive battle.
