Well, well Nate!

Ahem! Nate should be saying, “turned out well.”

"Good" is an adjective that modifies nouns or pronouns. "Well" is an adverb that modifies mostly verbs, but also adjectives and other adverbs.

It a good thing Nate is well out of earshot of his helicopter mom.
