2 injured in Colorado Springs church fire
COLORADO SPRINGS — Authorities say two people were injured in a fire that started at a Colorado Springs church.
The Colorado Springs Fire Department says the blaze at the Restoring Hope Church was reported at about 4 a.m. Saturday, and it took more than 60 firefighters more than an hour to douse the flames and search the building. One person was pulled from the basement, but the extent of that person’s injuries was not clear.
The Gazette reports (http://bit.ly/SWHA0F ) a firefighter suffered minor injuries while battling the blaze.
