3 accused of vandalizing Denver-area high school

DENVER — Police have arrested three men accused of breaking into Englewood High School in suburban Denver, setting several small fires and causing thousands of dollars in damage to a computer room.

The Denver Post reports 23-year-old Michael Alan Trickel, 25-year-old Anthony Ryan Meany and 28-year-old Chad Delgadillo are being held in the Arapahoe County jail on charges stemming from Sunday’s vandalism.

Investigators say the fire department received a water pressure alarm at about 1:41 a.m. Sunday, signaling that water was running at the school.

When officers arrived, they found that someone had broken into a computer room and band room and set several small fires. School officials say the vandalism forced them to cancel classes the following Monday.
