4 arrested after I-70 mountain chase

DENVER — Two men and two women have been arrested after state troopers in Eagle County pursued a vehicle reported stolen at gunpoint in Denver.

The chase began Wednesday after a trooper spotted a driver making an illegal lane change and found out the car was reported carjacked in Denver several days ago.

According to the Denver Post stop sticks were laid out on the highway and stopped the car.

Authorities say one man was caught when he tried to run and the other three surrendered.

The names of the suspects have not been released.
