5 Grand Valley wrestler make quarterfinals

Grand Valley High School advanced 5 of their 6 participants in the opening round of the Class 3A Colorado State Wrestling Championships. Leading the way for the Cardinals was Cody Pfau, Tucker Schultz,  George Stagg, Michael Salazar and Bryan Hegwood. William Hinkle was pinned in his preliminary match.
