Acquafresca to represent W. Slope on state board

Mesa County Commissioner Steve Acquafresca has been appointed to serve on Colorado State University’s Colorado Extension Advisory Council.

This board gives direction to CSU’s extension service in the state.

Acquafresca is one of a few members from the Western Slope.

“I’m delighted to get this opportunity to bring Mesa County’s point of view to the council,” he said. “As a Western Slope resident with a background in agriculture, I think representing our people, as well as the county government perspective, is important for our local communities.”
