Authorities investigate death of service dog

WILLITS — Authorities are investigating after a woman told police three huskies attacked and killed her service dog.

Whitney Tobel says her Pomeranian named Angel was killed after the huskies got loose from their handler near Willits.

The Aspen Times reports Angel was being taken on a walk on Thursday by her cousins when the attack occurred.

Basalt police say no details are being released on their investigation.
