Battle Mountain High School student stabbed
EDWARDS — A student at Battle Mountain High School is facing assault charges after a 15-year-old youth was stabbed with a pair of scissors in a restroom between classes.
The Eagle County Sheriff’s Office says the suspect ran from the school. Authorities found him about an hour later near Edwards.
According to the Denver Post, the injured student was taken to a hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
The names of the students have not been released.
