Bennet: Senate process ‘rigged’
Sen. Michael Bennet, D-Colo., today called the Senate’s process “rigged,” as a live microphone picked up his comments and broadcast them on C-SPAN.
Bennet’s comments came as he sat as presiding officer and commented that “the whole conversation is rigged.”
The Senate had just rejected an effort to eliminate earmarks for at least three years, an effort he and Sen. Mark Udall, D-Colo., supported.
