Boulder crackdown targets homeless

BOULDER — Boulder is targeting aggressive panhandlers and people who are drunk and homeless as part of an effort to clean up the downtown area.

Officials tell the city council a team that would include a homeless person to patrol the downtown area is being discussed.

The Boulder Daily Camera reports other options include moving services like weekend meals away from the downtown area and setting standards for homeless behavior.
