Brighton police: Dying man names attacker

BRIGHTON — Police say a man severely wounded in a knife attack in Brighton managed to name his assailants before he died.

Officers responding to reports of a fight at a mobile home park around dawn Thursday located a 22-year-old Hispanic man from Denver covered in blood.

Police say the man told the officers who attacked him before he lost consciousness. He was rushed to a hospital where he died.

In the afternoon, police say two Hispanic males were arrested in connection with the attack and face preliminary murder charges.

No names were immediately released.
