Candidates step up campaigns as early voting ends
MONTROSE — Republican vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan will be in Colorado as early in-person voting comes to an end.
Ryan is holding a rally today at the Black Canyon Jet Center in Montrose. He will also be in Iowa and Ohio
Numbers released Thursday by the Colorado secretary of state shows 1.3 million people already have voted, including 38 percent of the Republicans and 35 percent of the Democrats.
President Barack Obama spoke to about 10,000 people in Boulder on Thursday.
Vice President Joe Biden and Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney also plan stops in Colorado in the coming days, and Obama is expected to return to Colorado on Sunday.
