CDA ‘Vertical Challenge’ set for Saturday at Powderhorn

Powderhorn Mountain Resort and Colorado Discover Ability on Saturday are hosting CDA’s 17th annual Vertical Ski Challenge.
Skiers and riders, participating individually or as four-person teams, vie to rack up as many vertical feet as possible during a day on the slopes.
All levels of skiers and riders are invited, and teams may be composed of family, friends or fellow employees. Company sponsored teams are particularly invited.
Prizes will be given for best costume and most vertical feet in a variety of classes and divisions.
A post-race gathering and silent auction, featuring items donated by Never Summer, Whitewater West, REI, Gene Taylor’s Sports, LOKI, Best Buy and The Board and Buckle Shop.
Cost for the day is $60 including lunch, post-race gathering and all-day lift ticket, $30 for passholders.
