RSSChadron wins six matches to defeat CMU wrestlers
Chadron State (Neb.) College won six of the 10 matches, including one by forfeit to defeat Colorado Mesa 22-13 in an RMAC dual on Thursday night at Brownson Arena.
The Mavericks (5-7, 0-2 RMAC) won decisions at 133, 149, 157 and 184 pounds. Jon Gappmaier won an 11-3 major decision at 157 to lead Mesa.
Chadron State’s Bruce Zurek rallied to force overtime then defeated Dylan Granard 5-3 at 165 pounds to give the Eagles a 12-10 lead. Chadron won three of the final four matches.
