CHS student to girls: “I’m going to rape you”
A Central High School student is facing charges after allegedly threatening to rape girls in his class, kill children as their parents watched them die and “murder people as a side job,” according to an affidavit from the Mesa County Sheriff’s Department.
The boy, who is not identified because he is a juvenile, is facing four misdemeanor charges of menacing in connection with the harassment of four girls that allegedly occurred at the school Nov. 7. He is in custody of Grand Junction’s Division of Youth Corrections.
According to the affidavit, investigators separately interviewed four female students about comments the boy made.
All girls said they wanted to press charges against the boy. One girl told authorities the boy made comments about raping her during class when the teacher was not present. The girl said she overheard the boy tell other students that he was going to kill everyone. Another girl told police the boy had threatened to rape all of them and cut them into pieces, looking at her specifically, telling her she was next. The girl told police the boy said he had been learning about the Holocaust and constantly says, “Long live Hitler.” Another girl told police the boy threatened to rape her and told her he watched her outside of her bedroom. The girl told police she was scared and later asked her mother if she could put blinds up in her room. The following day, the boy told the girl he had been joking about the comments, but added, “Maybe it’s not a joke. You guys are lucky you are still alive.”
During a discussion about what students wanted to be when they grew up, the boy allegedly told classmates he wanted to take little girls into his basement and kill them and murder people as a side job. The boy was also overheard telling students he wanted to be the ruler of the world, taking it over by force.
When questioned by authorities about the comments, the boy said he told girls he would grape them, not rape them, the affidavit said.
