CMU-Kearney game times moved up

Because of a winter storm expected to hit Kearney, Neb., tonight, the game times for today’s Colorado Mesa University basketball games at the University of Nebraska-Kearney have been moved up two hours.

The women’s game will tip off at 3 p.m. Mountain Time, with the men’s game to follow at 5 p.m. School officials have already discussed the possibility of the Mavericks’ games in Chadron, Neb., being pushed back from Saturday to Sunday if the weather prevents the teams from traveling. The Mavericks, who travel by charter bus, usually leave after Friday night’s games to travel to their next opponent.
