CMU men end three-game skid

The Colorado Mesa University men’s basketball team defeated the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs 75-50 at Brownson Arena to snap a three-game losing steak.

The Mavericks (8-6, 6-4 RMAC) limited the UCCS to eight 3-pointers and 28.8 percent shooting.

Michael Bear led CMU with 18 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Colton Burgon had 17 points and Landon Vermeer added 10 off the bench.
